Now Available for you —

Interactive Teller Machines

Our Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) act like a standard ATM in many ways. However, an ITM offers many more features, and you can still access it from the comfort of your vehicle. By touching the screen during the hours listed below, you will be automatically connected via video to one of our Availa Bank ITM associates, who you can meet below. This is not an automated machine or a response service, but a video stream of an actual Availa Bank employee who is AVAILABLE to help with your banking needs!

Our Availa Bank ITMs are available in Ames, Ankeny, Carroll, Coon Rapids, Council Bluffs (Downtown & Bennett), Fort Dodge, Nevada, Pocahontas, Sioux City and Webster City.

  • Monday – Friday: 7am to 7pm
  • Saturday: 8am to 12pm

What can Availa Bank ITMs Do?

  • Cash checks down to the penny.

  • Take deposits.

  • Make loan payments.

  • Withdraw cash.

  • Transfer funds.

  • Dispense specific denominations when requested.

  • Dispense more money than your standard ATM withdrawal limit.

*Please note while the ITM can dispense coins it cannot take coin deposits.

How do you use the ITM?

It’s simple! Just touch the screen and you will be automatically connected to one of our available associates. The ITM associate will then assist you through your transaction and answer any questions you might have.

Why use an ITM instead of an ATM?

  • You can have a live, interactive, face-to-face conversation with one of our Availa Bank ITM associates.

  • ITMs offer extended hours beyond our branch hours.

  • There are more banking functions available than offered by an ATM.

*If you choose to use the ITM as an ATM, without the need to speak to an associate, insert your card and proceed as you would with an ATM.

Will the ITMs replace employees?

Every time you use one of our ITMs, you are speaking to a real person located at our Ankeny office. An ITM does not replace any of our employees, it simply allows us to more conveniently serve you during extended hours without losing that person-to-person experience.

How is an ITM different from an ATM?

ITMs are different because you can connect to an Availa Bank ITM Associate through live video stream and have a face-to-face conversation as you complete your transactions. ITMs allow you to do more than the traditional ATM, such as completing deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, loan payments and more, all without leaving the comfort of your vehicle!

Is my conversation at the ITM private?

Yes, the ITM allows you several adjustment options to maintain your privacy, including speaker volume, plugging in your own earphones/headset, or using the chat feature on the screen to type in important information. Your privacy is important to us and we want you to feel comfortable communicating with our ITM Associates.

I don’t know what a larger bank could offer that they don’t. At the same time, they have all the benefits of a local bank. Being able to walk in or call and talk to someone who always takes care of any questions is great. They make everything simple and easy. I personally love how everyone in my branch knows me and my family.
