Availa Bank Announces New Webster City Market President
Ryan Williams, experienced Availa Bank Loan Officer, will take over the role
Availa Bank is proud to announce that Ryan Williams, a current Availa Bank team member, will be taking over the role of Webster City Market President.
Ryan’s previous role was Vice President Loan Officer at the Webster City branch. He has been with Availa Bank since 2017 but has over fifteen years of banking experience in the area. In his new role, he will provide leadership and direction for the Webster City market in all departments, including loans, marketing, and retail, while also managing the market’s financials and daily operations. Ryan will continue to maintain and build upon existing and new client relationships within the Webster City market.
Ryan was born and raised in Webster City, graduating from Webster City High School in 2003. He then went on to get his B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from UNI in 2007. He lived in Cedar Falls for six years before returning to the area.
Ryan is active in real estate investing in the Webster City area and finds many ways to give back to the community as the current president of the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce, a Baird Scholarship Fund board member, and a second-grade basketball coach. He was also past president of the Webster City Lions Club.
He is married to Jade, a nurse practitioner at Van Diest Medical Center in Webster City, and has two daughters: Finley and Halston. The family stays busy with their Newfoundland puppy, Muddy. Outside of work, Ryan likes to golf, play basketball, listen to music, travel and spend time with family and friends.
Scott Bargfrede, former Webster City Market President, is confident in Ryan’s ability to lead the Webster City team. “I’m looking forward to stepping down, knowing that Ryan will be leading the Webster City, Roland, and Jewell branches. Ryan has worked hard to prepare for this and will continue promoting Availa Bank when working with customers and the community. His main challenge will be managing ME,” he says.
Availa Bank President and CEO, Jeff Scharfenkamp, is excited to see Ryan in this new role. “I am excited to see Ryan accept this opportunity to step into a leadership role. Ryan is energetic, community-focused, and a committed leader who is well prepared to lead Availa Bank’s Webster City banking team,” he says.
