Availa Promotes Commercial Loan Assistant to Mortgage Loan Officer
Stephanie Smith will step into role at Council Bluffs – Bennett location.
Council Bluffs, Iowa (October 23, 2023) – Availa Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Stephanie Smith, former Commercial Loan Assistant, to Mortgage Loan Officer at the Council Bluffs Bennett location. Smith’s main focus will be assisting customers in financing their first, forever, or vacation homes.
Smith has lived in Council Bluffs since 2018 and has worked for Availa Bank for 3 years, starting at the bank as a Universal Banker I. She graduated from Harlan High School and got her associate’s degree from Iowa Western Community College.
Since joining the bank in 2020, she has become involved with the A Team, a health and wellness committee for employees of Availa Bank. In her new role, Smith is excited to get more involved in various community organizations.
Smith is originally from Panama, Iowa and is engaged to Beau Brownlee. She also has a 7-month-old, Bruin.
